Popular Conventions

All the conventions shown on these pages are those that I play with my regular partner. There are numerous variations to most of these conventions but these variations are not shown, the content is limited to the variation of the conventions that we play,

The Multi 2D

The variation of this convention we play shows either;
A weak 2 in a major(6-10 points and a decent 6 card suit)
OR a strong 2 in a minor(8+) playing tricks but not worthy of an opening 2 clubs
OR a balaced hand of 23-24 points.
Following on from this last option the rebid of 2NT/3NT by a 2 club opening hand shows 25-26/27+ points respectively.
